AGFO Expo - An Exciting New Agriculture and Forestry

Industry Initiative

AGFO Expo is an impressive new initiative focusing on the joint interests and natural symbiosis between the Agriculture and Forestry Industry.  This first ever Agriculture and Forestry Expo will take place from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd of October 2016 at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre in White River.  It will provide an all-new platform for stakeholders from both of these dynamic sectors to promote their interests, showcase their products and demonstrate their services and capabilities to a diverse but targeted audience.  The compelling line-up of entertainment for the whole family gives this Expo a satisfyingly broad appeal. Judging by the growing interest in this event, we are geared for the AGFO Expo to become an annual happening on the Lowveld calendar.

Showcasing Innovation

The three-day event is geared to attracting a combination of the latest in farming and forestry technology, product variety and farming and forestry innovation.  The AGFO Expo not only provides a first rate exhibition, but gives an opportunity to participants to facilitate open discussions with experts and industry leaders; all while providing top class networking opportunities.

Water:  The Source of Life

We are acutely aware of the stress under which our water systems operate so we have appropriately chosen “Water, the Source of Life” as the theme of this first event.   This theme will not only be integrated into the exhibits by our many exhibitors, but will also form part of many of the competitions running throughout the Expo.  We encourage you to use every ounce of imagination and creativity to incorporate this vital theme into your exhibits.

A Unique and Picture-perfect Venue

The Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre is a unique lifestyle destination with beautiful, tranquil gardens, generous space and excellent infrastructure.  It is situated in White River which is a small holiday and farming town just 20 km north of Mbombela, the capital city of South Africa’s Mpumalanga province. This beautifully appointed centre lends itself perfectly to hosting an Expo of this nature and size, located as it is in the heart of some of South Africa’s biggest agriculture and forestry enterprises.  The centre is in close proximity to major tourist attractions, excellent accommodation and entertainment establishments.

Exceptional Facilities for Your Client Interaction

In addition to the 96 exhibition opportunities, you will be able to make good use of the exceptional facilities at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre to present audio-visual or multi-media productions, presentations, lectures or expert panel discussions in one of the many amenities. These include a multi-function theatre venue, a 60-seat cinema and top-notch conference facilities at the Casterbridge Hollow Hotel; all of which are located in convenient proximity to the exhibition area. Some of the Lowveld’s most notable restaurants add to the excellent options for interaction with clients and audiences.
